One should never wear a conflicting gem. If it be so necessary , only a friendly gem should be taken.

There are chiefly nine gems: pearl, ruby, emerald, diamond, coral, yellow sapphire, blue sapphire, hessonite, and cat's eye. Thus, we can say that gems play an important role in astrology.
