| The Human Energy Field
The term "psychic" comes from the Greek word psychikes
(psyche), which means soul. Psychic refers to aspects
of our being beyond the known physical world of our five
senses. Psychic attacks require an understanding of invisible
forces that do not register on our medical lab tests, or any
other earth plane machine.
There are dozens of examples of the
positive use of psychic energy. The mother who senses danger in a
child,
or receiving a telephone call from a friend or relative after
thinking about them, are but two examples.
We are naturally protected from most
forms of psychic attack by the flow of universal energy and the aura
around
us. If you focus your mind on positivity and are motivated
by love and work toward your own spiritual growth, the
energy available to you increases.
By concentrating on fears and personal
problems, you block the flow of this energy. Anger, greed, jealousy,
and
other negative emotions further compromise your aura. Each
time you experience these emotions, your aura is weakened
and you are more susceptible to psychic attack.
We all have an electromagnetic field
of energy surrounding us; this is our aura. Electromagnetic radiation
is seen in radio and television signals, microwaves, the
infrared, visible light, and ultraviolet spectrums, X-rays, and gamma
rays. Outside of the narrow visible light spectrum,
special instruments or psychic abilities are required to detect
the other examples of electromagnetic radiation. You may
be familiar with Kirlian photography. This technique actually
photographs the aura of plants, animals, and humans.
The function
of the aura is to act as an outward extension
of the soul's energy. As such, it holds within this
electromagnetic energy field a record of every event that
has happened to us, including past life experiences and
psychic attacks. There is an inner center of colors that
shine through this electromagnetic field, and these colors
are relatively easy to perceive psychically. These colors are
pink/red, blue/green, blue, mauve, and yellow. Health,
balance, and spirit energy are represented by these hues.
The electromagnetic layer of the aura is closer to the body
and reflects the colors of the inner center and the
surrounding energy of the physical body. This electromagnetic
layer is affected when the body is fatigued, distressed, or
unbalanced. The normal strong and uniform glow of the
electromagnetic layer can appear thin and weak in color
under duress or illness. When we are excited and charged
with energy this layer glows brightly all around the physical
body.
The aura is actually a complete record
of the spiritual and physical status of the soul and its physical
body. Each
color has special meanings, depending on where it is found
and its particular shade. Some auras are thin while others
are wide. What is most important psychically is the overall
sense of awareness, the peace, and the energy, not how
large the aura appears.
Spiritually evolved people have
a clear and bright aura which tends to project farther out than
the average person.
This is especially noticeable around the head. The halo of
light around saints and masters, as indicated by artists
throughout history, reflects this advanced aura. We must
consider that there are several energy fields surrounding
our body. Included among these are magnetic, sound, heat,
electrical, and light.
There are seven interwoven rings of light in
the aura; each component represents a different aspect of our being. These
seven rings are:
Ring 1
This represents the health of the physical body
Ring 2
The emotions.
Ring 3
The intellect.
Ring 4
The subconscious, especially imagination and intuition.
Ring 5
The higher self.
Ring 6 and 7
These are not visible on most people
and represent advanced cosmic aspects of our soul's energy.
