Diagnosis of a Psychic Attack

There is a world of difference between a psychic attack and mental illness brought on by simple compromises in the individual's psyche. This is not necessarily an easy
differential diagnosis. The differences are not clear-cut and require a thorough investigation.

Hysterical responses, subjective hallucinations, responses to environmental pollution, and so on must be considered. Another complication is that a severe psychic attack may cause a mental breakdown, as in the case of ECMCs (see Chapter 3). Furthermore, a mental disorder can lay the foundation for a psychic attack, as the victim is now vulnerable to unseen forces.

The purpose of this chapter is to educate you as to the various factors that characterize a psychic attack, so that proper metaphysical techniques may be applied. Conventional medicine and psychotherapy will be ineffective with a true psychic attack.

One must differentiate a psychic attack from other possible causes that have nothing to do with metaphysical projection techniques or telepathic effects. Other factors to
consider are:

  • A biochemical disturbance in the body, such as a hormonal problem or hypoglycemia.

  • A psychosomatic or emotionally generated disorder.

  • The cumulative effect resulting from negative subconscious programming over several years.

  • The result of a traumatic incident, such as loss of a loved one, rape, or mugging.

  • A manifestation of fear or guilt from some chain of events real or imagined. This class may include hallucinations and delusions.

  • Allergic reactions to food, the environment, clothes, and other miscellaneous medical factors.

  • Responses to other unseen influences in the environment, such as positive so on.

  • Fraud-Some claims of psychic attacks are merely attempts to gain attention.

Even when the above factors are discovered in the sufferer, we must carefully eliminate the presence of metaphysical forces at work on this individual who is in a compromised physical and/or mental state.

This form of pathological psychism has three possible categories. The first is brought on by physical disease, compromising the individual's resistance to psychic attack. A physician should be consulted to treat any organic disorders. The successful resolution of any medical issues will return the patient to a condition in which he or she is able to repel a psychic invasion. This will only be effective in the very beginning of a psychic attack. After the symptoms and attack has gone on for awhile, medical treatment alone will not solve this problem.

The next category to consider is that of an attack generated by a discarnate mind. This is a spirit who is troubled, such as a ghost or poltergeist, who inadvertently creates havoc through telepathy and energy transfer phenomena. It may also be a demonic entity. Enlisting the aid of a psychic or sensitive can be helpful in determining whether this is the case.

There are various techniques a psychic can use to ascertain whether a discarnate mind is involved. One is psychometry. This technique involves sensing by the vibrations (magnetic fields) given off by material objects who or what came into contact with them. Any object that you handled during an attack is relevant. Occasionally an object can be moved (psychokinesis) by a spirit, and this object is ideal for psychic investigation.

Make sure these specimens are not touched by others. The sooner you have them evaluated following a suspected psychic attack, the more accurate will be the analysis. Metals of all kinds, linen, silk, and glass hold these energies well. Stone is a fair retainer of these vibrations, whereas wool, cotton, wood, artificial fabrics, and earthenware objects are practically useless.

Be careful when you are preserving these objects for the psychic. Your own thoughts may contaminate these specimens, as may the materials with which you pack them. Since wood retains little energy, it is wise to pack your items in a container made of wood.

Handle these specimens as little as possible. Wrap them in some padding material which is new and hasn't been touched by others. I would get at least two opinions on any item you submit. You will also find an astrological (natal chart) analysis to be helpful in these matters.

Another technique helpful in determining whether a discarnate source exists for this suspected psychic attack is channeling. The very same psychics you used for the psychometry may also be competent to channel any discarnate spirits that may be affecting you.

If a channeler uncovers a troubled spirit as the unknowing culprit, it is relatively easy to persuade the discarnate entity to cease and desist its negative projections All of the various reports and opinions you receive from the psychics, astrologers, and channelers should be compared and evaluated.
