Why
are Psychic Attacks Initiated?
There are three major motives for a psychic attack. We
have already dealt with one of these in Chapter 4. This
simply consists of accidentally disturbing some unseen force or
consciousness by practicing an occultist technique, subconsciously
creating a thought-form or an untimely encounter with an energy
being during the dream state, or some other out-of-body experience meeting.
When such an unseen force is disturbed, it has a tendency
to respond by lashing out at the person responsible for
this disturbance. The simple motive is revenge. It must be
remembered that these entities are not "happy campers." Whether
they are thought-forms, ectoplasm attackers, or just discarnate
entities in-between lifetimes (ghosts or poltergeists),
or demonic spirits, these beings are angry and want to be left alone.
Before we discuss the next motive for a psychic assault, a
presentation of the path of a soul after the death of the physical body and cleansing techniques is in order.
The Experience of Death
What seems to happen at death is that you experience, at least initially,
what you expect to experience. In other words, your expectations
of what death should be like seem to affect the actual experience
or perception of death. A belief in the fires of hell or the clouds
of heaven will often manifest itself, temporarily at least. Fortunately
these fantasies disappear quickly and you are joined by Masters and
Guides. These angel-like entities will try to help you adjust to
the astral plane. They will guide you into a gradual realization
that you have died and it is time to move on. You may not even accept
that you have died at first, because you really won't feel much different.
There is, however, one very significant difference: you are now totally
free of any discomfort. Your new environment will be far less limiting than
that of the physical plane, which you have just left.
On the astral plane, you may find yourself in
the presence of dead relatives or friends. Telepathy is the rule
now, so
that your true feelings toward that friend or relative will be
made known, and vice versa. There is no hypocrisy on the astral plane.
When you go to sleep every night,
out-of-body experiences occur and simulate the death experience.
This simulated death state is merely training for later. Dreams of
flying or falling are conscious remnants of this astral projection.
I alluded earlier to the white light.
This white light is an express train to the soul plane-the
plane where you will evaluate your past life and choose
your next one. Your Masters and Guides and "dead" relatives and friends will
advise you to enter this white light. If you do, then all is
well and good. But, as I've mentioned before, if you don't, you
become what is known as a "troubled spirit" and remain on
the astral plane, unsure of who you are and what you are
supposed to be doing. You can be observed on the earth
plane as a ghost or you can be unobserved and just wander
around aimlessly. You will be reminded again and again
by your Masters and Guides to enter the white light, but
nothing can force you to do so.
